The number 1 thing that almost all of Madden players look for when the game comes out before anything else is player ratings.  Who is going to be a 99 OVR, what is the speed of my favorite RB, and what ratings do these new rookies on my team have.  Well the later can be seen somewhat in the MUT “2013 NFL Draft Future Stars” cards.

Our friends over at GoMadden.com gives us a sneek peak at what some of the rookie ratings may be.

The rookie ratings for this upcoming Madden NFL season are still under wraps for the most part, but we did learn a bit more about them yesterday on Twitter, and now once again as the Madden Ultimate Team cards have dropped for a select few rookies from the 2013 NFL draft.

As part of the “Future Stars” release on MUT this past week, six players from the draft were added in ridiculous form (think 99 OVR, yes, more 99 OVR players), but more importantly there are ten players from the NFL draft that were dropped in with casual ratings for fans to collect.

While the ratings on Madden Ultimate Team can’t be expected to be an exact replica of the Madden 25 player ratings we’ll see in the coming months, they’re usually pretty good indicators of how a player might look come release.

You’ve seen the Top 10 Receivers in Madden NFL 13.

The winners that you voted for in the following attributes on facebook (Speed, Catching, Acceleration, Strength and Awareness) will be reflected in the week one Madden NFL 13 roster update.

See a sampling of ratings below, and download the full ratings report HERE.

What do you think?  I love Larry Fitzgerald and I know it’s not his fault that the Cards don’t have a legit QB but 97 is still a little too high for me. I know he put up 1400+ yards but he only had 8 TDs.  You wanna know who had more than Fitzgerald but wasn’t even in the top 10 and only got an 89 rating overall – Victor Cruz. Victor Cruz had more yards, TDs, more 40+ yard catches and average more yards per game … and he had Nicks on the other side of him, so he was sharing balls.  Fitz is the only guy in that system and I know that means he gets more double teams but so did Cruz. One is a 97 and the other is a 89 … I want a recount.  I’m not even a Victor Cruz fan, just thought that he was done dirty for the the outstanding year he had.  Give me your thoughts.

I’ll have the full sortable table out this weekend. I’m out of town and my CPU died on me.  Enjoy.

View and sort each rating that matter the most to RBs in Madden NFL.

One of many disagreement I have with this list is that last year’s Madden NFL 12 Cover Athlete; Peyton Hillis, is the toughest RB in the league?  Are you kidding me?  We are talking about a guy who didn’t play because he had sore throat.  A guy who didn’t play the rest of season because of all sorts of excuses.  He is not tough!  Anyways, I have more to say about this on Game Changers Radio, this Tuesday at 9pm est on gamechangersradio.com
