Connected Franchise: Relocating Your Franchise in Madden NFL 25

Sometimes things just don’t work out in that city, they don’t want to fund for a new stadium, the market size is too small …. or maybe just maybe it’s more fun to pick up your Franchise and move to a new city; and you can do that in Connected Franchise for Madden NFL 25.

For this Connected Franchise article I thought I’d take you through the procedure on how to move your team and what options you’ll be faced with when it comes to relocation.  First your team has to be bad enough for you to relocate, I’m not sure at what level of Fan Happiness you have to be at but it has to be pretty low.  Some of the teams that will have the option to move in the first year are the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders.  I’m sure the Cleveland Browns may be a team as well but I can’t remember off the top of my head if they could be moved in the first year.  If you take over a team and you just want to move them, then you’ll need to let your stadium go and let it fall so low with the fans happiness that they’ll be begging you to leave.

So in this article, I’m going to relocate the Jacksonville Jaguars.  They need a new change of scenery. So I create myself as owner of the Jaguars and make myself to have a ‘Financial Mogul’ background (If you are unsure what each background does, check out my owners mode article) this will give me more money to start off with to use to move. I name my character Sean Combs and we take over ownership in Jacksonville.

Today EA released the much talked about Connected Franchise Mode Playbook which reveals Owner’s Mode in Madden NFL 25.  The blog is kind of lengthy but it’s packed with goodies about how you will take your team to new heights.  Very interested to see how the diehard offline franchise guys feel about Connected Franchise.  The ability to take over all 32 teams, mix and match with owner of 1 team, coach of another, and then play as a player on another team.  The ability to imports NCAA Football 14 Draft classes should make people happy as well. Take a read of the blog and then let me know what you think.  Also make sure you check out my articles on Connected Franchise as well.

Madden NFL 25 Quick Hits: New Progression Changes in CFM

Written by Shopmaster on . Posted in Madden Articles, Madden News, Madden NFL 25 News No Comments

scouting

Let’s face it, the player progression factor in Madden NFL 13 for players was way better than the potential grade that was in Madden NFL 12.  In Madden NFL 25 progression is back but with some pretty significant changes that not only reward your players who can put up some good numbers but also the regression older players face as they hit their decline.  On a recent trip to the EA Studios Josh Looman; Creative Director of CFM for Madden NFL 25, sat down and talked about the changes this year that will make you think twice about keeping that old RB on your team.

Please note that some of these figures are not final and are still being tuned but will let you in on the thinking behind some of the changes being made this year.

Young Players vs. Old Players

With last years progression system it was hard moving those old guys out of the lineup because they were getting better than they probably should have been.  Meaning a guy like Michael Turner; who is 34 years old in one of my league is still a 89 in the year 2016, that’s 4 years into my CCM.  There is no way Michael Turner is still playing at 34 let alone should be able to produce on the field.

QuickHits_hitstickheatseeker

Happy Sunday!

The other day EA released it’s Playbook #2 Blog and video that was focused on the defensive side of the ball.  There were quite a few things going on in that video and a lot of discussion coming  from that video along with some questions about Hit Sticks and the “Heat Seeker” tackling in Madden NFL 25.  It’s good to get this info out now before the CFM Info comes out later tomorrow because not many people will be talking about game play for a while until E3, or unless another gameplay video surfaces from EA.

QuickHits_NewBlocking

I talked a little bit about blocking in Madden NFL 25 on a recent Game Changers Radio Show and how it is improved.  I thought I’d drop some more information regarding blocking in light of a recent video that fellow Game Changer SimFBCritic did on his YouTube Channel and some questions that were asked of me on Twitter just yesterday about the blocking.

If you are not subscribed to Sim’s Channel, go and do that now.  Sim is a good dude that believes, stresses, and lives for Simulation in all games including the Madden NFL franchise.  Yesterday he posted a video talking about some information that he gathered from Devs regarding blocking.  Let’s take a look:

In this Madden NFL 25 ‘Quick Hits’ article we take a look at the Top 5 QBs in the game that not only get it done through the air but will cause some problems if you let them ‘Run Free’ in the open field.  On this list you won’t see V.
