Extended Game Prep and Progression Adjustments Change Get an Update in CFM
With the release of Madden NFL 15 on Tuesday August 26th, there had already been reports of flaws in the Connected Franchise Mode. Today we learn that some of those problems have been addressed.
Here is what I received from one of the developers of CFM for EA SPORTS:
1. Extended the Scrimmage game prep activity to occur during the regular season and the playoffs.
2. Balanced the cost of scouting Speed.
3. Balanced the progression cost of Speed and Hit Power.
4. Added Power/Finesse moves back to the progression list for OLB and MLB.
This was the result of direct feedback from the community that was given to Game Changers and discussed with developers directly.
The biggest in my eyes was how easy it was to progress Speed and Hit Power for players. In one test that I ran, I was able to get my whole secondary to high 90 speed after 1 season of simulation.
This change both affects new Online CFMs and ones already in progress! This will not change offline CFMs.
If you have more feedback, please send them to me and I will pass it on to developers because some of the changes can be done without a patch.
