Get in the Game – Design the next Madden NFL Uniform

Today EA SPORTS announces that they will be giving fans of Madden NFL the chance to design uniforms to be used in the game.

Last year in Madden’s Franchise mode aka CFM, teams were allowed to relocate and change uniforms but those uniforms were kind of lackluster.  This year EA SPORTS are going to let the community do that work, hopefully freeing up EA Developers time to add other nuggets into CFM this year.

“There are so many talented people out there creating amazing logos and color schemes,” says Josh Looman, a senior designer on Madden and the man behind the game’s popular Franchise Mode. “You see that stuff on these websites and you go, ‘Wow, that is amazing!’ We think a lot of those people are Madden fans, so getting them involved in the design process seemed like a natural step.”

Designers can submit as many designs as they would like but must do so before March 7. All designs will be evaluated individually. None of the design aspects are elements of or inspired by real team uniforms and logos.

Get started by downloading the Uniform & Logo design packet to get all the tool you need to start creating. Be sure to save the Photoshop .PSD versions of your files for submission!

The design packet will come with:

– (1) Logo Design Example
– (1) Logo Design Example
– (1) Home & Away Uniform Design Example
