Madden 25 Pro-Tip #1: Defensive Shading Techniques Pt. 1

In this very first Madden 25 Pro-Tip I show you how to use a defensive shading technique to slow down the out route which is very effective in Madden 25.

To shade your defender to the outside:

PS3 – Triangle + X (Individual) + WR Icon + R3 Left or Right toward the sideline
XBOX 360 – Y + A (Individual) + WR Icon + R2 Left or Right toward the sideline

Using this technique will not guarantee that your defender will intercept the out route every time, but it will put your DB in a better position to break up the pass or tackle the WR before they can turn up the field for a bigger gain.

Great tip Shop!!! Madden players often have trouble beating their opponents when they don’t know how to adjust to the techniques they face. It’s how most rumors get started. This levels the playing field. Keep spreading the knowledge!
