Madden 13 Title Update #2 Comes Out Tomorrow Along with News To Edit Players in Future
Today we got news that a 2nd Title update to Madden NFL 13 will be out tomorrow to update and fix numerous stability issues, GameFace Improvements, and to add an instant start option when creating your player in Connected Careers. That’s not the real news though. The real news is that based on “Community Feedback” Developers are looking to patch in the ability to edit players in another title update.
Here’s what EA SPORTS said on their Madden Facebook Page.
We’d also like to remind fans who have been asking about the ability to edit players and rosters in Connected Careers that based on your feedback, the development team is currently exploring the potential option to include additional functionality in Madden NFL 13 in an upcoming title update. We’ll update you with more information in the coming weeks after the team has time to investigate and assess the situation.
This comes as welcomed news to the thousands of fans who felt betrayed by EA SPORTS’ decision to leave that particular feature out of this years’ game. I really feel that if they couldn’t do it, they wouldn’t even said they were looking into it. So I’m very hopeful that the Madden team can get this in.
I’m still not sure if you’ll be able to edit ratings but I really think that this update will enable guys to edit equipment and numbers, which is still a welcomed back addition to Madden NFL 13.
What are your thoughts on EA’s announcement of adding editing players back into the game?
