How to Start a Connected Career In Madden NFL 13

There are a lot of commissioners that can’t wait to get their hands on Connected Careers and start their online leagues for Madden 13.  I would tell them that it’s more to think about than just starting one .. so make sure you check out this video before you get started.

Do you have Legends, Coaches Only … Salary Cap on, Practice, … so many more things to think about.

They do have a players only, but you selected a coach so it’s not available.

I have Joe Montana’s Card in Madden Ultimate Team, but it will not let me start a career as a player with him, it says ”Locked”, must get his card. . . . I have it! I bought like $60 worth of cards to get it and I can’t do anything with it except play him in Madden Ultimate Team. Can you help me figure out how to start a career with him and why it says ”Locked” when I have his card. I can’t even put it in Collections.
    Thanks

I waited for the roster update so I could play with my actual team instead of a bunch of players they released and traded. Is there a way to start a franchise with the currentt roster? When I started it before it wouldn’t let me switch out of the pre-existing 75 man roster. Any pointers?

“Next week, a Connected Careers update will be released that will allow
players to choose between the updated 53-man roster or the 75-man
pre-season rosters that came with the game when it will be released.
This will give players the opportunity to go through their career with
or without performing the first waves of roster cuts.”
don’t know how true this is, but I have also been scouring the web for an answer to this.
