Franchise mode was by far the best part of this football game franchise and it is what sold games. I bought this game today and could not belive that franchise mode was removed. So you have this new idea called connected careers, who cares? No one cares. I refuse to play this game, I bought it immediately after it came out and sold it 2 hours later for $25. Madden 13 is horrible and I would recommend that no one wastes money as I did. I will continue to play Madden 12.

Created teams should be able to be used in connected careers mode at least in offline, it would be cool it was included also in the online version. This could be done with the created team taking the place and the players of a existing team or the created team being a expansion team. It would be really cool if a madden version of team builder was part of madden 14. It should include the helmet, jerseys, and pants of all the teams. It would also be pretty cool to pick a real team and using this team builder, make them totally new uniforms, or take the real jerseys and change the pants or whatever. It would be incredibly fun to use teams you came up with against your friends created teams.2. More Historic jerseys and Historic teams in MaddenEditI think in madden there needs to be a lot more jerseys, it would be cool to see teams be able to have any uniform they have ever wore, rather than just the ones they currently have in madden. These jerseys could even be unlockables you earn by doing certain objectives in madden, earning points by doing certain tasks in madden and purchasing them or purchasing them using Microsoft points. It would also be great for ultimate team. I also think there needs in historic teams like in the old maddens, so you play as teams like the ’85 bears and other historic teams. And now with the coaches and large amount of legends they have included in the game, you could actually see some of them on there actual teams in their prime. These teams could also be unlockable through the system I brought up before or through doing madden moments of historic games.3. Locomotion, Foot Planting, and momentumRight now, ball carriers and players in general look as if they are moving on ice, sliding around and zig zagging without planting their feet. Ball carriers need to be able to plant their foot and make cuts turn up field or make jukes. If you watch any highlights of players such as Devin Hester, he will plant is foot and make a cut to juke or get up field. This video is a perfect example:http://youtu.be/QV44GhLfbvoMomentum of the player is not taken into consideration. Usually a juke is made to use a players momentum against them. If a defensive player is running hard to the left and ball carrier might cut back to the right so that the defensive player’s momentum makes him unable to get into position to make a tackle. Right now, Madden players twist and turn their upper torso and head as they are sprinting down field. Most NFL players have very good running form and do not twist their upper bodies as their run down the field as this is a very in-efficient (in terms of energy) running style. As you can see in the Reggie Bush video, his head and torso stay nice and firm as he swings his legs and arms. There is very little head or torso movement, contrast to Madden and you’ll the ball carrier twist and turn their head from side to side.Also, RB (speed, big bruisers, etc.) need their own running styles in addition to lineman, WR’s, DB’s, scrambling QB’s vs. Pocket QB’s, LB’s, etc..
