Rams tight end Brody Eldridge suspended four games

And perhaps now we know why the Colts dropped a fifth-round pick in 2010 who started 16 games in two seasons.

Tight end Brody Eldridge, waived by the Colts and claimed by the Rams, has been suspended four games for violation of the league’s policy regarding banned substances, according to Howard Balzer of the Sports Xchange.

It’s unclear whether Eldridge has exhausted the internal appeal process.  Typically, the league acknowledges such suspensions only after the suspensions have become final.
