Madden NFL 13 Has New Hot Routes

I was fortunate to talk with Core Gameplay Developer; Larry Richart, about Madden NFL 13 and the new hot routes in the game. This is something that is not really talked about but is very helpful to know now.  Slant outs was a big problem in Madden NFL 12 and some people built their whole game around slant outs.  If you hated that, then you’ll love what EA SPORTS has done with slant outs.

Awesome news.  I’ve been waiting for more realistic hot routes for years.  I’m stoked for this.  With the addition of disguising coverage, these new hot routes, and the physics engine Madden 13 will feel like a whole new game for the first time since current gen.

But, hb streak out of backfield is realistic? How is that not taken out if we are going realistic?

Easy to snap the ball before the slant flips and you have a slant out…morons
