Redskins Singleback Bunch Scheme Play 1: Double Drags

Here is another free tip from Madden Guides:
Recently a Madden 11 Tips breakdown we did in the X’s and O’s Filmroom was a six play scheme out from the Redskins Singleback Bunch formation. The first play we showed in our Redskins Singleback Bunch scheme is the Double Drags. This play can be run against both man and zone coverage. For this write up, we are going to show how we like to run it against bump-n-run man coverage.
The flanker’s (B) dig is the route want to focus in on for this play.
To get him open against bump-n-run man coverage we want to send him in motion to the right. Please keep in mind, the 6 plays we show in our Redskins Singleback Bunch scheme, we are going to send him in motion to the right.
Before he sets, we want to snap the ball.
Once the ball is snapped, the flanker will stop and …
… and then take an inside release. This allows him to get off the line of scrimmage without being jammed.
Once spot him open, we throw him a high bullet pass.
We make the catch for 8 yard pick up.
